Prof. Alberto García is Doctor in Law from Complutense University in Madrid. Presently, he is Professor of Philosophy of Law and International Law at the School of Bioethics of Athenaeum Pontificium Regina Apostolorum in Rome. Furthermore he is a researcher of the Human Rights Institute at Complutense University. For 5 years he has been member of the Steering Committee of Bioethics in the Council of Europe and in 2005 he has been honoured with the National Prize of the Spanish Royal Academy of Doctors in the field of legal and social sciences. He has worked internationally in the field of education, and is a consultant in the health care sector.

Claudia R. Sotomayor. Born in Mexico City, Claudia holds an M.D from Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua, in Chihuahua, Mexico. She also graduated with a Master's degree in Bioethics from Anahuac University with the highest honor.She was the health coordinator for FUNDESPEN A.C., an ONG helping the rural areas of the Mayan Region. She has worked as a Professor at Anahuac University, and currently she is working as a Research Associate and Clinical Bioethics Consultant at different hospitals in Atlanta, GA.

María Elizabeth de los Rios Uriarte holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Cum Laude. She also graduated from a Master of Science in Bioethics at Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City. Cum Laude. Also, holds a Ph. D. in Philosophy at Universida Iberoamericana. Cum Laude. Her areas of interest are multiculturalism, postmodernism, violence and migration. She has worked at different Universities at Mexico City and she is currently a Professor at Universidad Anáhuac and Universidad Panamericana.

Director, Medical Student Research
Dominique J. Monlezun served at Harvard Medical School/ Brigham and Women's Hospital as a National Institutes of Health-funded research trainee for nephron bioengineering through the NIDDK Medical Student Research Program in Diabetes. He regularly publishes and presents his findings at international and national conferences on cytogenomics, clinical nephrology, stroke epidemiology, and neurobioethics. As the Director for Research & Development for the Musae Institute’s Pathos Project, he coordinates the Fellowship Program available for medical students globally. He graduated magnum cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and English from Tulane University and is a current MD/MPH dual candidate at Tulane University School of Medicine and Tulane School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine.

Michael Baggot graduated summa cum laude from Christendom College with a B.A. in Philosophy. After graduation, he worked in Rome as a Resident Director for the college’s study abroad program. Upon his return to the United States, Baggot reported on prominent bioethical issues as a writer for the LifeSiteNews organization. He then entered the seminary and spent his initial stages of training in Germany and Ireland. Baggot currently assists the Chicago chapter of the Lumen Institute, an organization which offers personalized formation to business leaders.
